Academic Track Overview
The Academic Track provides a forum for researchers and practitioners to present original research and developments in the field of free and open source geospatial software and data. The submission procedure is divided into two mandatory steps for authors to present their work at FOSS4G 2026.

- Maximum 8 pages using ISPRS template
- Must include original and unpublished research
- Papers checked for template conformance and plagiarism
