Join us for the world's largest geospatial conference!

FOSS4G is the world’s largest conference dedicated to open-source geospatial software, organized by the OSGeo Foundation. In 2026, this global FOSS4G event will be held in Hiroshima, Japan.

Geospatial technology empowers communities to address real-world challenges such as disaster response, urban planning, and environmental resilience.

At FOSS4G 2026 Hiroshima, we will further highlight the humanitarian applications of open-source geospatial technologies — from supporting refugees to preserving cultural memory.

As a "City of Peace and Reconstruction", Hiroshima is an ideal place to explore how technology can foster empathy, inclusion, and international collaboration.

And of course, we invite you to enjoy Hiroshima’s unique culture and delicious cuisine to the fullest!
